30 May 2022 The Glenurquhart second team beat the Skye Camanachd second team 6-1 in their rearranged HIS Sutherland Cup second round tie at Blairbeg on Saturday 28 May 2022. Skye boss Ally MacDonald was without Connor Gilpin and Jamie Gillies for this 2.30pm throw up as they were on first team duty. However Seonaidh-Alex MacLeod returned after injury whilst there was a place for Gilleasbuig MacVicar who has rejoined the club after a spell with Col-Glen. There were also places for Iain Murray, Ally “Spod” MacLeod, Archie MacDonald and youngster Iain MacInnes. James MacPherson scored for the Glen on 2 and 10 minutes with David MacLennan completing a hat-trick with strikes on 19, 54 and 57 minutes to make it 5-0. Daniel MacLean added a sixth on 86 minutes with Allan MacLeod securing a consolation strike for Skye on the stroke of full-time.
