13 May 2019 The Skye Camanachd second team went down 2-1 in their Mowi North Division 1 match against the Glenurquhart second team at Blairbeg on Saturday 11 May 2019. Skye Camanachd second team co-managers David MacInnes and Daniel Morrison were unavailable so Ewen MacKinnon looked after the side. There was a minutes silence ahead of this 2.30pm throw up following the sad passing of Mary Gillies, mother of Skye Camanachd Secretary Marion Gillies and Grandmother of Skye Camanachd Ladies player Lorna MacRae. Glen’s David MacLennan had a 13 minute effort disallowed before Cameron Bremner scored on 20 and 29 minutes to give the hosts a 2-0 interval lead. Skye’s Cameron MacKay made it 2-1 on 74 minutes but the Glen took the points. Glenurquhart are sixth in the table but they are still only two points off the top.
