Eight Changes In Stuart Reid’s Scotland Ladies Squad | |
14 October 2015 Scotland Ladies Head Coach Stuart Reid has made eight changes to the Scotland squad for the 2015 Shinty / Camogie meeting with County Kildare Senior Women at the Bught Park on Saturday 24 October 2015. Reid made his final selection following the North v South senior match at Mossfield on Sunday 27 September 2015. Skye Camanachd’s Sarah Corrigall returns to the international fold whilst there are new caps for her club-mates Catriona Gibb and 15 year old Emma Gordon. There are also call-ups for Glasgow Mid Argyll pair Alana McGarrie, who played in 2013, and Lyndsay Michie as well as Aberdour duo Taryn Neilson Aberdour, who was on the reserve list in 2014, and Rosie Mulligan and Lorn’s Paige MacDonald. Hazel Hunter from Strathglass is on the stand-by list as she 12 months ago. The players who miss out from 2014 are Lochaber pair Kathleen Cameron and Kirsty MacDonald, GMA trio Lisa MacColl, Kirsteen Munro and Alannah Savage, Aberdour duo Katy Smith and Katie Booth and Rhona McIntyre from Badenoch & Strathspey.
The Scots, sponsored by Loch Ness Gifts and the Gellions, did well to beat Dublin in 2013 and Down last year and they will be put to the test again this time around by a Kildare side who were recent All-Ireland intermediate finalists.
