Delay On Skye Camanachd AGM Proposal | |
28 March 2013 Skye Camanachd will have to wait to find out if their proposal, which requests a change of heart on the league reconstruction plans for the 2014 shinty season, will be heard at the forthcoming Camanachd Association AGM. The Skye proposal was due to be discussed at a Camanachd Association Board meeting on Wednesday 27 March 2013. However there were an insufficient number of Camanachd Association Directors available so the board meeting will be rescheduled for a later date. Time is tight though with the AGM due at the end of April. Skye’s submission has gained support from a number of shinty clubs throughout the divisions, including Newtonmore who have withdrawn their motion in order to back the Skye proposal.
