Local Radio station Cuillin FM continues their live shinty coverage with another “Shinty Super Saturday” on Saturday 6 September 2014.

The “Camanachd Live” programme, sponsored by Marine Harvest, is broadcast both on the radio and online each Saturday afternoon and this week’s programme has an earlier than normal start.

This weekend’s show starts at 1pm and there are two featured matches. First up is the crucial Marine Harvest North Division 2 meeting between the Skye Camanachd and Lochaber reserves at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree. Throw up is at 1pm and is John Matheson is the match referee. This is Skye’s final match of the season and they must win or they will be relegated to Marine Harvest North Division 3.

Next up is the Marine Harvest North Division 1 meeting between Skye Camanachd senior side and the Kingussie reserves at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree. Throw up is at 3.30pm and Deek Cameron is the match referee. Skye clinched the Marine Harvest Marine Harvest North Division 1 title when the beat the Glenurquhart second team last weekend and the trophy presentation will take place after this Saturday’s match against Kingussie. Cuillin FM will bring coverage of all the proceedings.

Cuillin FM covered 30 matches throughout the 2013 shinty season and the next matches scheduled for coverage are as follows:

•          Saturday 13 September 2014 – No match as it is the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final
•          Saturday 20 September 2014 – No match as Cuillin FM will be covering the Isle of Skye Gravel Sprint
•          Saturday 27 September 2014 – To be confirmed
