Colin Fraser Stays In Charge At Kinlochshiel | |
03 January 2015 Colin Fraser will stay in charge of the Kinlochshiel first team for the 2015 shinty season. Fraser, who took over from Johnston Gill in 2013, led ‘Shiel to a seventh place finish in the Orion Group Premiership last season – their best finish in three years in the top flight. Willie MacRae remains as Kinlochshiel second team manager for another term. There was a sense of continuity following the club’s Annual General Meeting. Biz Campbell carries on as Club President with Keith Loades continuing as Chairman. The only change sees Chris Nixon take over as Vice President from John Don MacKenzie. Alice MacRae and Katherine Loades share the Secretary responsibilities once more whilst John MacDougall remains in the Treasurer’s post. Kinlochshiel have started Phase 1 of a new pitch development at Balmacara. This will see the creation of a new pitch with access. The club will now look to Phase 2 of the relocation with the need to raise funds for a new changing room complex. The new facility is expected to be ready ahead of the 2016 shinty season. |
