Camanachd Association Match Assessors In Action – Saturday 30 March 2013 | |
29 March 2013 The Camanachd Association match assessors are in action once again on Saturday 30 March 2013. Henry MacInnes is the match assessor as John Matheson referees the Co-operative MacTavish Cup first round tie between Caberfeidh and Kinlochshiel at Castle Leod. The Marine Harvest North Division 2 match between Beauly and Skye Camanachd at Braeview Park throws up at noon. The game will be refereed by Donald MacRae and Billy MacLachlan is the match assessor. The Marine Harvest South Division clash between Ballachulish and Tayforth at Jubilee Park has Willie MacDonald on match assessor duties with Euan Pearson refereeing. Neil MacDonald is the referee as Inveraray meet Bute in a noon match, also in Marine Harvest South Division 2. The match assessor at the Winterton is Donnie MacDougall. The 1.30pm throw up between Kilmallie and Lewis Camanachd at the Canal Parks will be refereed by Archie Ritchie with Dondy Robertson appointed as match assessor. Finally, the match between Strathspey Camanachd and Boleskine at Freuchie Park will be refereed by Calum Girvan whilst Ken MacColl is the match assessor. Match assessors monitor the performance of all participants against the Camanachd Association’s Codes of Conduct as well as mentoring new / inexperienced match officials. Due to unavoidable circumstances, a match assessor may have to change / attend games without prior notification. |
