Ballachulish Confirm 2014 Management Teams | |
08 January 2014 Ballachulish have confirmed their management teams for the 2014 shinty season. Craig Munro had stepped down as first team manager at the end of last season, citing work commitments as reason for his departure. However Munro has been persuaded to return to manage the side along with Donald Wilson, who has just retired from playing. They will be assisted by senior player John MacDonald who will oversee the club’s training. Ballachulish won the Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup and the Bullough Cup last season and they were only pipped to the Marine Harvest South Division 2 title after a play-off against Kyles Athletic. The Jubilee Park side will compete in Marine Harvest South Division 1 next season. Ballachulish’s newly formed junior team will be managed by former players Iain MacMillan and Gavin Whyte as well as George Bryson. The new management teams have already started their pre-season preparations and the following friendly matches have been confirmed so far:
