13 September 2016 There will be focus on youth action ahead of the 2016 Camanachd Cup Final between Newtonmore and Oban Camanachd takes place at An Aird on Saturday 17 September 2016. Skye Camanachd U14 and Kingussie U14 contest the MacMaster Cup Final at An Aird. The sides met at the Dell in Marine Harvest North Division 1 recently with Skye running out 5-0 winners but the final will be a closer affair. Skye will rely on the firepower of Ross Gordon, Dan MacDonald and Holly MacLean whilst Kingussie know goals can come from Kieryn McGibbon Bradley Harvie and Ally Douglas. Throw up is at 11am and John Wood is the match referee.
Event Details The 2016 Camanachd Cup between Newtonmore and Oban Camanachd throws up at 2pm. Robert Baxter will be the match referee and he will be assisted by goal judges Graham Irving and Deek Cameron. The linesmen will be John Wood, Iain Kennedy, Ross Brown and Neil Ferguson whilst Innes Wood is the fourth official. Admission is £10 / £5 concessions whilst U12s go free if accompanied by a paying adult. The match will also be broadcast LIVE on BBC 2 Scotland from 1.45pm. |
