The teams are making their final preparations ahead of the 2016 Balliemore Cup Final between Kilmallie and Caberfeidh which takes place at Blairbeg on Saturday 16 July 2016.
Mark MacPherson’s Kilmallie side have only lost twice this season; both times against Marine Harvest Premier Division sides – Skye Camanachd and Oban Camanachd – and both times by the odd goal in seven. They are also in great goal scoring form – netting 26 goals in their last six matches.
Caberfeidh boss Lee Nicol knows that victory on Saturday will make his side record Balliemore Cup holders; they are currently level with Bute at five victories apiece. Youngsters Blair Morrison, Craig Morrison and Liam Symonds will be key to their success. Cabers only trail Kilmallie by a point in the league but they have played a game more.
