13 May 2014 The 2014 Joe Toal Sixes take place at Spean Bridge on Sunday 20 July 2014. This year will be the 31st Anniversary of the tournament and Lochaber are inviting all clubs to enter one or two teams into this popular competition. Joe Toal died suddenly when playing for Lochaber Camanachd against Fort William in 1982. He was aged just 22. Lochaber Camanachd have since held a sixes tournament in honour of his memory and dedication to the club. Kilmallie are holders as they beat Newtonmore 2-0 in last year’s final with Liam MacDonald and Mark Graham getting the goals. The 2014 tournament will start at noon Lochaber will contact clubs around six weeks in advance to establish who are able to take part.
