2014 Balliemore Cup Final …………. 1 Day To Go! | |
11 July 2014 The all-important team news is emerging ahead of the 2014 Balliemore Cup Final between Skye Camanachd and Ballachulish at the Sports Field, Taynuilt on Saturday 12 July 2014. Skye Camanachd first team manager John MacLeod will be without powerhouse Kenny Campbell who suffered a broken finger in last weekend’s Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup quarter-final win over Kilmallie. However Will Cowie has fully recovered from injury and Danny Morrison has shaken off a hand knock. Skye will be captained by Gilleasbuig MacDonald who was also captain when the Islanders won the Balliemore Cup Final in 2008. Ballachulish player / manager Donald Wilson welcomes keeper and captain David MacPhee back into the fold after he missed the team’s last two outings through suspension. John MacDonald made a scoring return to the side last weekend after a period working away. However there is Cup Final disappointment for Mark Wilson who misses out as he serves a one match ban for a points accumulation.
