2013 Balliemore Cup Final ………….. 1 Day To Go! | |
19 July 2013 Bute and Beauly meet in the Balliemore Cup Final in the Balliemore Cup Final at Jubilee Park, Ballachulish on Saturday 20 July 2013. The final was originally set for Saturday 13 July 2013 but Beauly sportingly agreed for the game to be put back a week as it clashed with Bute forward Robert Walker’s wedding. Bute manager Graham Fisher is in his first season at the helm for the Islanders. Robert Walker is the Islanders danger-man and he is the competition’s top scorer with seven goals to his name so far. Beauly co-managers Stephen MacLean and Calum Morrison’s main injury concern is former Scotland U17 full back Scott MacLeod who has been missing in recent weeks. Both finalists currently sit in second place in their respective regional leagues and are well placed to qualify for shinty’s new national second tier which comes into effect in 2014.
Admission for the 2013 Balliemore Cup Final is £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and under 12s go free when accompanied by a paying adult. Camanachd Association members will receive a 20% discount on ticket prices if they show their membership card at the gate. Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be on sale at the Ballachulish Clubhouse. Throw-up is 2.30pm and Daniel MacRae is the match referee. |
