Ireland boss Joe Dooley has named his squad for the forthcoming Shinty / Hurling international double header against Scotland.
Ireland manager Joe Dooley is from Offaly and he is assisted by Kevin Ryan of Carlow and Jim McKernan from Antrim. All three were also in charge of the senior Irish squad in 2010 and 2009.
Tipperary duo Eoin Kelly and Brendan Maher feature in the 18 man squad as does Kilkenny’s Michael Rice, who captains the Irish, and Kerry’s Tom Murnane.
Manager’s son Shane Dooley, who was prolific in front of goal in last year’s internationals, is not included. However the Scots will need to be wary of Offaly’s Joe Bergin who missed out last year but played in 2009.
