Danny Morrison Impressed With Skye’s Forward Play. | |
17 August 2011 Skye Camanachd’s Danny Morrison was impressed with his side’s forward play in his team’s 6-2 Marine Harvest North Division 2 derby win over Kinlochshiel at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 13 August 2011. Speaking to Cuillin FM’s Saturday Sports Show after the game, Morrison said, “That was alright. It was good to get a couple of goals for a change. I don’t think there was ever that many goals in it as it was quite a close game but a win’s a win and we are happy with it.” Reflecting on his own team’s performance, Morrison said, “Jordan Murchison was amazing today. He makes a big difference to this team; passing the ball about well and all the forwards all linked up well today and it all worked out pretty well.” . Morrison is likely to be involved in the first team’s big game against Kinlochshiel the following week and he said, “It will be a great game against Kinlochshiel next week. It would be great to get a result against them but we’ll see how it goes as they are a good side and they have been playing well this season.” |
