06 May 2011 The Camanachd Association Match Assessors will be in action once again on Saturday 7 May 2011. The role of the Match Assessors is to monitor and encourage all participants and spectators to adhere to the Camanachd Association Codes of Conduct. The Match Assessors report their observations to the Camanachd Association. The Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup first round tie between Inverness and Taynuilt at the Bught Park will be refereed by Colin MacDonald and Sandy Skinner is the Match Assessor. Billy MacLachlan will be the Match Assessor for the Scottish Hydro Premier Division clash between Fort William and Newtonmore at An Aird which is refereed by Billy Wotherspoon. Billy MacLachlan will also take in the Marine Harvest North Division 1 early throw up between Fort William and Kilmallie which is also at An Aird and is refereed by John Angus Gillies. Barrie Dallas referees the game between Inverness and Boleskine at the Bught Park in Marine Harvest North Division 3 and Sandy Skinner is also the Match Assessor for this one There will be Marine Harvest South Division 1 action for Willie MacDonald as he will be at the game between Ballachulish and Aberdour at Jubilee Park, which is refereed by Ronnie Campbell. The Marine Harvest South Division 2 game between the Ballachulish and Aberdour reserve sides also takes pace at Jubilee Park and Match Assessor Willie MacDonald will watch over this one too. If games are postponed at short notice the Match Assessors will attend other games where possible. |
