MacDonald Looks Forward To “Must Win” Inverness Match. | |
24 April 2011 Skye Camanachd first team manager Aonghas MacDonald was looking ahead to his side’s meeting with Inverness following their 4-1 defeat to Lochcarron in their Marine Harvest North Division 1 match at Battery Park on Saturday 23 April 2011. Reflecting on the defeat to Lochcarron, MacDonald said, “I thought our forwards played well in the first half and on another day, we could have scored more goals. We tried Darryl Macintosh at full forward and he worked away very well. It was good to have Shockie MacLennan back and Shaun Hedley and Neil MacVicar also did well.” “We fell away in the second half and maybe fitness was an issue but have a huge number of guys missing for a variety of reasons but I hope to have players back for this weekend’s game against Inverness. We need to start picking up points and the Inverness game in Portree next weekend is a must win for us.” |
