Skye Referees To Officiate At The Marine Harvest Shinty / Hurling International. | |
09 November 2010 Skye referees John Angus Gillies and John MacLeod will both officiate at the Marine Harvest Shinty / Hurling International between Scotland and Ireland at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 13 November 2010. Both Gillies and MacLeod will be Umpires at the second test whilst Fort William’s Deek Cameron is the match referee. John Angus Gillies refereed last year’s Iomain Colmcille meeting between Alba and Eirinn in Portree whilst John MacLeod was an Umpire at this game. Deek Cameron refereed the U21 international between Ireland and Scotland a fortnight ago so all 3 officials have experience in the cross-code rules game. The International will not be shown on television so the only way to see the action is to come along to the game! Tickets for the match are priced £10 for adults and £5 for concessions with under 12s admitted entry free of charge. The Marine Harvest Shinty / Hurling International between Scotland and Ireland at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 13 November 2010 starts at 2pm. There will also be a Shinty / Camogie clash between the Scotland Shinty Squad and the Scottish Universities Camogie Squad which starts at 12 noon. |
