09 November 2010 Scotland Captain Urges Shinty Supporters To Get Behind The Team! Scotland captain Ronald Ross has urged shinty supporters to turn out for the Marine Harvest Shinty / Hurling international second test between Scotland and Ireland at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 13 November 2010. Ahead of the game, Ross said, “We are delighted with our victory in Dublin but realise there’s plenty still to do to clinch the series and we anticipate a very tough match from the Irish this weekend.” The international at the Bught Park for the Marine Harvest Quaich will not be telavised and Ross said, “The Scotland fans that travelled to Dublin provided a huge boost to the team. Now we’re back on home soil we need shinty supporters across the country to turn out and get behind the team to help us lift the Marine Harvest Quaich”. The Marine Harvest Shinty / Hurling international second test between Scotland and Ireland starts at 2pm and the Scot’s hold a single point advantage from the first game.
