Kingussie Manager Says Ross Will Be His Side’s Focus. | |
13 September 2010 Kingussie manager Stevie Borthwick says that Ronald Ross will be his side’s main focus for the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final between Kingussie and Fort William which takes place at the Bught Park Inverness on Saturday 18 September 2010. “Ronald is fit and raring to go,” said Borthwick on Cuillin FM’s breakfast show on Monday 13 September 2010. “We have wrapped him in cotton wool a bit in recent weeks but he scored 3 goals against Lovat at the weekend and he would have had more had it not been for some fantastic saves from Lovat keeper Stuart MacDonald.” “We need Ronald on the park for us. Our whole game is geared up to play everything on the park towards him. There’s no doubt about that and everyone knows it. When you have such a player, you want to use him as often as you can so when there is a chance of playing in Ronald Ross or the other forwards, then the ball is going to go to him. No doubt about it.” The Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final at the Bught Park, Inverness throws up at 2.20pm. Admission for a fantastic day’s shinty is £10 and £5 for concessions. The final will also be shown live on BBC2 Scotland where coverage starts at 2pm. Iain Anderson and Hugh Dan MacLennan are the match commentators. |
