05 June 2010 Kinlochshiel U14 won through to the second round of the MacMaster Cup with penalty shoot-out win over Skye Camanachd U14 at Kirkton on Thursday 3 June 2010. Skye led 2-0 through a Iain MacLeod double and although Shiel pulled a goal back before the break. A Kyle Pirie strike in the second half put the visitors 3-1 up. However Shiel fought back to level the tie at 3-3 at full time. There was no further scoring through the extra time period and Kinlochshiel ran out 2-0 winners on penalties. Kinlochshiel will now have home advantage against Lochcarron or Caberfeidh with a place in the MacMaster Cup semi-finals at stake.
