MacDonald’s Concern Over Injuries. | |
30 May 2010 Skye Camanachd first team manager Aonghas MacDonald was concerned about the injuries picked up in his side’s 5-1 defeat to Kinlochshiel in Marine Harvest North Division 1 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 29 May 2010. “We created problems for ourselves today,” said MacDonald “but credit Shiel, they are a good side and they seemed to punish every single mistake we made. It was bad enough to lose the game but the injuries are a real concern. Iain Nicolson, Shockie MacLennan and Kenny Campbell have been major players for us this season. Crossal came off immediately his hamstring problem resurfaced so hopefully that helped and both Shockie’s and Kenny’s x-ray’s showed no bone damage so fingers crossed that we won’t be without them for too long.” Next weekend, Skye Camanachd host Lochaber in the league. “That will be another tough one,” said the Skye boss. “We’ll have Jamie MacDonald back from suspension which is good as we missed him at the back today. As for the injured boys, we’ll just need to see how they are through the week but they will be given every chance to prove their fitness.” |
