The Skye Camanachd U17 team has passed on their thanks to Vattenfall for sponsoring the team again this season.
This is Vattenfall's second season as main sponsor to the Skye colts and Youth Coach Davie MacVicar was quick to appreciate their support. MacVicar said, "Skye take part in both the MacTavish Juvenile Cup and London Shield competitions at U17 level and this involves a lot of traveling and a lot of cost. We have had a good season, winning the MacTavish Juvenile Cup, and the support from Vattenfall helps us tremendously."
Vattenfall Senior Communications Advisor David Rodger said, “Vattenfall is delighted to support the Skye Camanachd U17 team as part of our ongoing engagement and support for the local area, having now established the Edinbane Wind Farm.”
Skye Camanachd U17 captain Shaun Hedley added, "We have had another good season on the park and all the boys know that it costs a lot of money to run the club so we would all like to thank Vattenfall for their support."
