McNeil Forced To Make Second Squad Change. | |
26 October 2011 Scotland Head Coach Drew McNeil has been forced to make another change to his squad ahead of the Marine Harvest Shinty / Hurling international second test against Ireland at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 29 October 2011. McNeil was already without the services of the injured Grant Irvine although his Kyles Athletic team-mate Roddy MacDonald returns after missing the first test because of work committments. Therefore Skye Camanachd's Somhairle MacDonald, who was a late call up for the first test, keeps his place in the squad. However McNeil will also have to do without the services of Fort William full centre Niall MacPhee who misses the second test because of work committments. Bute's Iain MacDonald comes into the squad in MacPhee's place. MacDonald was not named on the initial squad stand-by list but he brings experiance to the side having played in this fixture before. The second test between Scotland and Ireland takes place at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 29 October 2011. The match starts at 2pm and, if you are unable to make the game, it will be shown live on BBC2 Scotland starting at 1.45pm. The second test will be preceded by the meeting between the Scotland U21 and Ireland U21 sides who clash at 12 noon. The day’s sporting feast begins with a Challenge Shinty / Camogie match between Scotland and the British Universities side and this starts at 10.30am.
