MacKintosh added a third on 24 minutes and Oban Camanachd’s cause wasn’t helped when David MacInnes was sent off on 39 minutes when he appeared to be shown two red cards by referee Cameron. Glen MacKintosh completed a first half hat-trick when he netted a minute before the break to make it 4-0. Many in the crowd would have expected Newtonmore to go on to eat into Kyle Athletic’s goal difference advantage in the second half.
