Skye Camanachd’s Injury Woes Continue. | |
21 April 2011 Skye Camanachd’s injury woes continue following last weekend’s games. Forward Danny Morrison has been ruled out for 6-8 weeks after dislocating his shoulder against Lochaber last weekend. Iain Morrison received 13 stitches to a head wound following the same game and he is a doubt for the trip to Lochcarron. Wing centre Kerr Gibb has shin splints and he is another absentee. Defender Neil John Campbell is another on the injury list following an operation on his hand. Jamie MacDonald is a long term injury absentee following an operation on his knee injury however he is off the crutches and is going through intense physiotherapy at the moment. U17 defender Stevie MacKinnon has a broken thumb. However on a positive note, Shockie MacLennan, who was an unused substitute against Lochaber, should be fit to start against Lochcarron following an ankle injury. Martin Bruce is also available for selection following a 6 week absence with a broken bone in his hand. Ian MacPherson is also able to return to U17 action after having stitches applied to a mouth injury sustained at training. |
