08 January 2011 Oban Camanachd have announced their new management team ahead of the 2011 shinty season. Oban Camanachd battled relegation for most of the 2010 season but they retained their place in the Scottish Hydro Premier Division at the expense of Bute. Diarmid MacMillan and Andrew Pearson, who have both played for the club, will take charge of the first team for next season. The club’s second team, Lochside Rovers, will be led by David MacInnes and Tony Howlett. David MacMillan and Gavin Stobbart have been confirmed as U17 coaches. To complete the set up, the U14s will be coached by the trio of Ian Hay, David MacCuish and Robert Howe. |
