Ireland v Scotland………….2 Days To Go. | |
28 October 2010 McNeil Knows His Scots Line-Up. Scotland Head Coach Drew MacNeil has known his Scotland starting line-up for some time and he is in no doubt of the strengths of his side. “Prior to our first training session I had my team roughly in mind. Any doubts were ironed out so my team was firmed-up after that first session,” said the man who won the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup 3 times in a row with Fort William. “The strength in our squad is that we have no weakness. In defence we will dominate the aerial bombardment, the midfield will chase every lost cause and the forwards will make use of the ball on the ground. The forwards are all adept at ball retention, movement, fluency and direct running at opponents with the major aim of scoring goals which of course secure 3 points rather than 1 point for a ball over the bar.” The international double-header between Ireland and Scotland begins at Croke Park on Saturday 30 October 2010 with a 4.45pm start. |
