25 October 2010 Skye Camanachd have just missed out on a place in the 2011 Artemis Macaulay Cup competition. The Artemis Macaulay Cup is initially contested on a regional basis between the top 8 sides in the North and the top 8 sides in the South. The North part of the draw should include Scottish Hydro Premier Division sides Newtonmore, Fort William, Kingussie, Glenurquhart and Lovat as well as the top 3 sides from Marine Harvest North Division 1 who are Kilmallie, Lochaber and Kinlochshiel. Skye Camanachd finished in fourth place. The South part of the draw is likely to feature Kyles Athletic, Inveraray, Oban Camanachd, Bute and Glasgow Mid Argyll from shinty’s top flight and Glenorchy, Oban Celtic and Kilmory from Marine Harvest South Division 1. |
