Bartlett Blow For Scotland U21s. | |
25 October 2010 Caberfeidh forward Kevin Bartlett has been forced to withdraw from the Scotland U21 squad for the Shinty / Hurling international against Ireland U21 at Ratoath on Saturday 30 October 2010. Bartlett suffered a hand injury in the practice match against a University side in Dundee at the weekend and it has now been confirmed that he has a broken thumb. The Caberfeidh forward played against the Irish in Inverness last season and his absence is a blow to the Scots. Bartlett will not be replaced in the squad as the rules only permit 4 outfield substitutes and there is already a squad of 18 outfield players. Fort William keeper Paul MacKay will be the reserve keeper for both the U21 and senior matches. The 2010 U21 Shinty / Hurling international between Ireland U21 and Scotland U21 at Ratoath starts at 1pm. |
