Busy Shinty Week For Skye Shinty Players. | |
20 August 2010 The Skye Camanachd first team squad travel to Kirkton to play Kinlochshiel in Marine Harvest North Division 1 on Friday 20 August 2010 in what is an extremely busy week for shinty players on the Island. Both first and second teams were of course in action on Saturday 14 August 2010. The first team went down 4-1 to Lochaber at Spean Bridge in Marine Harvest North 1 whilst the second team beat Kilmallie 4-1 in Marine Harvest North Division 2. On Monday 16 August 2010 the Skye Camanachd U17 side traveled to Drumnadrochit in the London Shield where they went down 4-1 to Glenurquhart. There was club training at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Tuesday 17 August 2010. Wednesday 18 August 2010 saw the Portree Primary School side travel to Battery Park, Lochcarron where they went down 4-1 to Kingussie Primary School in the semi final of the MacKay Cup. The Skye Camanachd U14s beat their Glenurquhart counter-parts 4-1 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree in North Division 1 on Thursday 19 August 2010. Yes, that 4-1 score again!! Friday 20 August 2010 sees the Skye Camanachd first team travel to Kirkton to play Kinlochshiel in Marine Harvest North Division 1. Throw up is at 6.45pm. Finally, the busy week is completed on Saturday 21 August 2010 when the Skye Camanachd U14 Development squad host Uist U14s at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree. |
