Skye Camanachd Injury Update. | |
09 June 2010 Skye Camanachd first team manager Aonghas MacDonald has not had his injury problems to seek this season and he is probably glad that his side has a free weekend on Saturday 12 June 2010. Defender Jamie MacDonald will be missing for 6-8 weeks after suffering a ripped cartilage in his knee against Lochaber last weekend. Shockie MacKinnon missed the Lochaber match after injuring his collar but he hopes to take part in a training session this week. Iain Nicolson and Kenny Campbell played against Lochaber despite picking up injuries against Kinlochshiel the week before. Hospital x-rays showed that Jordan Murchison did not break his finger against Lochaber U17 this week. However he did suffer heavy bruising and he will benefit from the free Saturday this weekend. Second team captain David Grant is probably a couple of weeks away from a return after breaking his finger against Col Glen. Scott Martin has an ankle knock but he should be fit for the Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup quarter final tie against Kyles Athletic at Tighnabruaich on Saturday 19 June 2010. |
