28 May 2010 The Camanachd Association match assessors will be in action once again on Saturday 29 May 2010. The role of the Match Assessors is to monitor and encourage all participants and spectators to adhere to the Camanachd Association Codes of Conduct. The Match Assessors report their observations to the Camanachd Association. Ronnie Campbell is the referee for the MacTavish Cup semi final between neighbours Fort William and Kilmallie at An Aird. Willie MacDonald is the match assessor for this one. Good luck Willie! Graham Cormack is the match assessor for the other semi final between Beauly and Kingussie at Braeview Park. Graham Cameron is the man in the middle. The Celtic Society Cup semi final between Oban Camanachd and Inveraray at Mossfield is refereed by Ted MacDonald. The match assessor is Dondy Robertson. Sandy Skinner will take in the Marine Harvest North Division 1 match at Cannich between Strathglass and Inverness which is refereed by Innes Wood. There will be Marine Harvest North Division 2 action for Billy MacLaughlan as he will be at the game between Newtonmore and Fort William, which is refereed by Euan Pearson. The Strathdearn Cup tie at Balgate between Lovat and Skye Camanachd will be refereed by Evan MacRae and Ken MacColl is the match assessor. If games are postponed at short notice the Match Assessors will attend other games where possible. |
