Skye Camanachd v Newtonmore – Team News - UPDATED. | |
19 March 2010 A combination of injury and first team call ups have left Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie MacVicar with a depleted squad for the Marine Harvest North Division 2 meeting with Newtonmore at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 20 March 2010.
Defender Neil John Campbell and forward Iain Morrison are both out with hand injuries. Both are in plaster and could be absent for 6 weeks.
Danny Morrison is not risked as he recovers from an ankle problem which was aggravated in the second team match against Glengarry last weekend.
Ally MacDonald is unwell whilst Stewart Grant has been called up to the first team.
Youth players Shaun Hedley, Ally MacLeod and Calum Gibb come into the squad as does veteran Willie MacRae.
Chris MacLennan is a late addition to the squad. MacLennan represented the North U14s against the South U14s at the end of last season. This is MacLennan’s first call up to the second team and he is the younger brother of Skye Camanachd first team players Ally and Shockie MacLennan.
