Skye referee John Angus Gillies had a match switch on Saturday 5 September 2009.
He was originally appointed to referee the Marine Harvest North Division 1 relegation battle between Lochcarron and Inverness.
However when Battery Park failed a pitch inspection, Gillies was dispatched to the Highland Capital to referee the Marine Harvest North Division 3 game between Inverness and Beauly.
Beauly won the game 1-0 and they are now within touching distance of the title. It was a busy afternoon for Gillies and he sent off Beauly’s Terry MacAllister after 34 minutes. He also had his performance scored by match assessor Sandy Slater.
