Scotland Senior Shinty / Hurling Training Squad Announced. | |
18 August 2009 Scotland Senior Head Coach Fraser MacKenzie has announced his training squad of 37 players for the 2009 shinty / hurling international against Ireland U21. The squad was selected following the Ballachulish training session. Scotland Head Coach Fraser MacKenzie said “We have not ruled out bringing other players into the squad if we have call-offs or if we feel someone merits the opportunity. We are constantly monitoring player performances in matches throughout the country.” The squad will be involved in further training sessions and will then be reduced to a final pool of 18 players with 2 reserves for the international.
