Injury Boosts For Skye Camanachd. | |
02 April 2009 Skye Camanachd are boosted by the news that two key forwards will return to action on Saturday 4 April 2009. Alan Palmer returns to the first team squad for the North Division 1 match against Lovat. Palmer has been missing since the victory over Inverness on the opening day of the season when he suffered a broken thumb. Danny Morrison has also recovered from an ankle knock and should start for the second team in their North Division 2 visit to Castle Leod to face Caberfeidh. Morrison was only able to make a substitute appearance in last week's defeat to Lovat but is now ready to take his starting place in the side. First team defender John Moir is still suffering from an ankle knock and a late decision will be made regarding his inclusion. Second team forward Neil MacVicar is a longer term absentee with a double fracture of the jaw.
