Lochaber Camanachd Announce New Management Team. | |
06 December 2008 Lochaber Camanachd is the latest shinty club to announce management changes for 2009. Their new management structure was confirmed at their AGM on Thursday 4 December 2008. The first team manager will be Ali Ferguson and he will be assisted by Duncan Kelly and Jason Latto. They replace Michael Delaney who is moving abroad for work reasons. Ali Ferguson is a former Scotland Head Coach who stood down at the end of last season and has recently worked with the Lochaber U17s. Duncan Kelly has been a shinty referee in recent seasons. However he has also previously managed Lochaber and became Scotland Head Coach in 2002, taking over from John MacKenzie. The third member of the team is Jason Latto who has been heavily involved in the successful youth scene at Lochaber in recent years. The appointment of such an experienced management team is a statement of intent from Lochaber who were in the midst the Marine Harvest Premier League relegation battle in 2008. The |
