Beauly U14 6 Skye Camanachd U14 1. | |
05 September 2008 Skye Camanachd U14 chances of winning North Division 1 suffered a blow when they lost 6-1at Brae View Park against Beauly. Skye actually opened the scoring through Calum Gibb but in truth, their performance was such that they didn't deserve to get anything from the game. Beauly's Jack MacDonald netted 5 and led his team to a convincing win. This result means that there will be close finish to the league as Skye, Beauly, and Glenurquhart have all dropped 3 points from their initial games. Lochaber and Fort William have dropped 4 points and cannot be ruled out either. Skye have 4 games left in the league, Lochaber away and Glenurquhart, Beauly and Lochaber at home. If they win them all, they will be champions.
