Kinlochshiel v Skye Camanachd - Team News. | |
09 July 2008 Skye Camanachd visit Kirkton to take on neighbours Kinlochshiel in North Division 1 on Saturday 12 July 2008. Team manager Alasdair Morrison hopes that Aonghas MacDonald and Steven Morrison will be passed fit to play. MacDonald has a recurring hip problem and Morrison picked up a nasty ankle knock in last weekends Balliemore Cup semi final win against Glenurquhart. Shockie MacLennan also seems to have recovered from a hamstring injury picked up playing for the Scotland U17 side in the shinty / hurling internationals in Ireland this week. However forward Ally MacLennan and defender Dougie Rankin are both unavailable. Kerr Gibb has recovered fom illness and is likely to start. This should be a tight match with Kinlochshiel coming away from Portree with a 1-0 victory against Skye just a few weeks ago. This was a match in which the home side were disappointed to come away without any points. Skye Camanachd from: Jamie Gannon, Steven Morrison, John Moir, Alan MacLeod, Shockie MacLennan, Gilleasbuig MacDonald, Jamie MacDonald, Alan Palmer, The match will be refereed by Ron Kennedy who is also to referee the Balliemore Cup final between Skye Camanachd and Kilmallie. |
