Skye Camanachd Defender Neil MacVicar Happy With Team’s Clean Sheet. | |
26 March 2012 Skye Camanachd defender Neil MacVicar was happy that his side had kept a clean sheet following the Islanders 2-0 Marine Harvest North Division 1 win over Inverness at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 24 March 2012. Speaking to the Cuillin FM Saturday Sports Show after the game, MacVicar said, “I thought we held things together pretty well and we came good with the second goal at the end. We were a bit shaky at times in the second half and we missed a couple of good chances. We are happy to have a clean sheet - we will always take that - and there was always a threat from Somhairle. I don’t think Aonghas could face losing a goal to Somhairle so we had to keep him out. He had a tremendous save from Somhairle in the second half and Aonghas has been play really well for us so far." |
