Peter McIntyre Steps Down As Fort William Boss | |
06 September 2012 Peter McIntyre has stepped down as manager of the Fort William first team. He cited work commitments as the reason for ending his three year tenure in charge at the club. McIntyre took over from Drew McNeil in 2010 and the highlight of his period in charge was a 3-2 Camanachd Cup win over Kingussie at the Bught Park, Inverness in his first year in the hot seat. Fort William spent most of the 2012 season playing at the Black Parks following extensive renovation work to their An Aird pitch. They returned home last month and the ground was officially reopened by club stalwart Bobby MacLeod ahead of the derby win over Kilmallie.
