Kilmallie announced their 2012 Player of the Year awards at the club’s Annual Dinner Dance at the Caol Community Centre on Saturday 17 November 2012.
Defender Allan MacDonald was named first team Player of the Year in what was a difficult year from the club as they were relegated from the Orion Group Premiership after two years in shinty’s top flight.
The second team Player of the Year award went to North U14 player Craig MacIsaac who has played both in goal and in attack for the Canal Parks side.
North U17 player Frankie Innes was crowned U17 Player of the Year and he is another who has been a regular in the second team. He was also part of the Kilmallie U17 side which recently won the Macaulay Sixes.
Jordan MacPhee was presented with the award for most improved U17 Player of the Year.
Donald MacIntyre was the U14 Player of the Year for the side which reached the 2012 MacMaster Cup semi-final stage.
The award for most improved U14 Player of the Year went to keeper Shane Gillies.
