The Camanachd Association has confirmed that Drew McNeil will continue as Scotland Head Coach for the 2012 and 2013 shinty seasons.
Drew McNeil will continue to be assisted by George Hay and Kenny Ross with Neil Bowman staying on as Fitness Coach.
Drew McNeil has been appointed joint Glenurquhart Head Coach with Fraser MacKenzie for the 2012 shinty season and the Camanachd Association has been persuaded that he is able to fulfil the dual club / international role.
Drew McNeil was appointed Scotland Head Coach in 2010 when he recorded a memorable victory over Ireland at Croke Park. The Scots narrowly lost the series against the Irish in 2011.
Camanachd Association President Archie Robertson said, “The re-appointment of the Senior Coaching Team was not a difficult decision for the Camanachd Association as the progress the Squad has made is clear.”
