Skye Camanachd Ladies and Glasgow Mid Argyll Ladies meet in the Valerie Fraser Cup Final as the WCA Women’s Cup Final Day takes place at Strachurmore on Saturday 6 September 2014.
Skye Camanachd Ladies preparations have gone well in the build up to what is the biggest game in women’s shinty. Head Coach Sarah Corrigall said, “Our preparations have gone well. We’ve had the usual weekly training sessions and the players have been doing extra themselves with some running and mini-games. We tried out a few things in the league match against Glengarry last weekend. We used that match as a dress-rehearsal and it went well so that will stand us in good stead for the final. We will name a squad of fourteen players for the final but even those players who miss out will travel to Strachur to cheer on the team.”
