Willie Gordon To Take Over Skye Camanachd Stick Repair Duties | |
31 January 2014 Skye Camanachd are delighted that Willie Gordon has agreed to take over stick repair duties at the club. Willie Gordon takes over this role from John “the Caley” Nicolson who repaired the club’s sticks over many, many years. Willie is a long-time supporter of the club and his sons Peter Gordon and Robbie Gordon both played for the Islanders. He can also be found on the touchline cheering on the youth and ladies sides with his grandchildren Ross and Emma involved in these teams. With the Island club running two U14 teams, an U17 team, a ladies team and reserve and first teams, and with the costs of sticks at an all-time high, the role of repairing damaged camans has never been more important and Skye Camanachd very much appreciate Willie getting involved. |
