Wexford U17 Name Squad For Scotland U17 Shinty / Hurling Clash | |
24 July 2014 Wexford U17 have named their squad for the Shinty / Hurling meeting with Scotland U17 in Killurin on Monday 28 July 2014. The Wexford squad is drawn from the best U17 hurlers in the county and they have been preparing well for the meeting with the Scots. As well as both their teams reaching the finals of a recent Loch Garman tournament at Pairc Charmain, they have been practicing their ground hurling skills at well attended training sessions. The Scots play Dublin U17 the following night. The encounter has been well publicised locally and a big crowd is expected. Throw in is at 7.30pm and entry is free. However there will be a collection on the night in aid of the Hope Foundation in Enniscorthy. Match programmes costing 2 euros each will be on sale.
