Valerie Fraser Cup Final …………. 1 Day To Go! | |
26 August 2016 Skye Camanachd Ladies and Lochaber Ladies meet in the Valerie Fraser Cup Final at An Aird, Fort William on Saturday 27 August 2016. The Valerie Fraser Cup tournament started in May and Lochaber were given a quarter-final tie against Cowal & Bute who they beat 11-0 at Spean Bridge. Kirsty Delaney and Sarah Davie each grabbed hat-tricks whilst Mairi Duncan, Rebecca Mason, Claire Delaney, Stephanie Walsh and Christy MacIntyre each got the others. Lochaber then eased past Aberdour in the semi-finals in June with a 6-0 win in their 1pm throw up on the Bught Park main pitch. Kirsty Delaney starred for Lochaber with an impressive five-goal haul whilst her sister, Claire Delaney, got the other.
