30 July 2016 The Skye Camanachd first and second teams have been in action this weekend. The Skye Camanachd first team won a hard-earned point – their seventh draw in ten league fixtures - as they drew 2-2 with Oban Camanachd in their Marine Harvest Premiership match at Mossfield on Saturday 30 July 2016. Iain Nicolson put ahead after 14 minutes but Andrew MacCuish drew Oban Camanachd level just 3 minutes later. Jordan Murchison put Skye back in front on 52 minutes but again it only took the Oban side 3 minutes to equalise with Willie Neilson getting the goal. Oban Camanachd stay second in the league whilst Skye move up a place to eighth spot. The Skye Camanachd second team lost 2-1 to their Glenurquhart counterparts in their Marine Harvest North Division 1 meeting at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 30 July 2016. James MacPherson put the Glen ahead after just 3 minutes but Kenny MacLeod levelled on 15 minutes. Daniel MacKintosh put the visitors back in front on 27 minutes. Skye pressed hard for a leveller in the second half but Glenurquhart took both points. The Skye Camanachd Ladies will take part in the Inverness Sixes at the Bught Park, Inverness on Sunday 31 July 2016. The Skye Camanachd Ladies development team did not have a fixture. Skye Camanachd U17 did not have a fixture. Skye Camanachd A U14 and Skye Camanachd U14 B did not have fixtures. |
