16 August 2015 Kyles Athletic will play Lovat in the SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Final following the shinty action on Saturday 15 August 2015.
SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup – Semi Final Newtonmore 2 Kyles Athletic 3 (after extra-time) Kyles Athletic will play Lovat in the 2015 SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final after they beat Newtonmore 3-2 following extra-time in their 4.05pm throw up at the Taynuilt Sports Field. Newtonmore’s Michael Russell missed out as he served a one-game ban for exceeding the disciplinary points threshold. Captain Cameron Binnie was late arriving to the game so he started on the bench. There was a starting spot for Scott Campbell with Jamie Robinson going to full centre whilst they were joined in midfield by Paul MacArthur who returned from injury. Chris Sellar missed out. Kyles Athletic have had to re-adjust their defence this season since Zac Coley and Donald Irvine have moved abroad to work. Callum Miller and Andrew King were joined at the back by Cammy Keith and Thomas Whyte. Innes MacDonald started at wing centre. The match was televised live by BBC ALBA and it was ideal conditions for shinty at Taynuilt’s excellent home pitch. Robbie MacLeod chipped a ball in on goal after 3 minutes but ‘More keeper Michael Ritchie palmed his effort away before the danger was cleared. Kyles’ John Whyte did well to stop a Glen MacKintosh shot from distance which dropped in front of his feet on 16 minutes. John Whyte then palmed away a Paul MacArthur shy from the left and cleared for a corner on 26 minutes before saving with his feet from a Glen MacKintosh drive following Scott Campbell’s corner on the right. Kyles started to enjoy a period of pressure and Dunkie Kerr sent a shot through a ruck of players but just wide of Michael Ritchie’s right post on 34 minutes. Cameron Binnie replaced Evan Menzies who limped off with just under 10 first half minutes remaining. As the semi-final moved into the closing 5 minutes of the first half, Robbie MacLeod broke down the right and checked back before shooting goalwards but Michael Ritchie saved with his feet. Callum Miller hauled down Glen MacKintosh just outside the D but John Whyte cleared the danger from the set-piece. A turn and shot from Roddy MacDonald went wide on 43 minutes. Both defences were very much on top and it seemed nerves and the magnitude of what was at stake engulfed both sets of players. Kyles made a bright start to the second half and Michael Ritchie had to look lively as he swept a ball into the D away for a corner. Kyles went in front on 55 minutes. Andy MacKintosh pushed the ball out of defence but only as far as Robbie MacLeod who had the presence of mind to pick out Dunkie Kerr in space and Kerr sent a superb swerving shot high into the ‘More net to make it 1-0. Gordon Whyte flashed a shot just over the bar from an Innes MacDonald shy on 70 minutes. Play quickly switched to the other end of the field and Newtonmore had the ball in the net through Cameron Binnie. However referee Innes Wood had already blown for an infringement for David Zavaroni’s challenge on Binnie just before he scored. Referee Wood consulted with goal judge Dougie Cameron before pointing to the penalty spot. Glen MacKintosh’s well-hit penalty was superbly saved by John Whyte but Paul MacArthur was first to the rebound and he kept his cool and controlled the ball before flicking it past Whyte to make it 1-1. There was confusion for a few seconds as the goal judge seemed to indicate offside but Wood clarified that the ball had not left the D following the save. There were late chances at both ends. When the ball broke to Grant Irvine with 5 minutes remaining, he sent a shot narrowly wide of target. Newtonmore had a great chance to win it in the closing seconds when Fraser MacKintosh held off his marker but his point-blank shot was superbly saved by John Whyte with an out-stretched left leg. Seconds later, referee Innes Wood took the tie into extra-time. The first period of extra-time was only seconds old when Grant Irvine launched a beautifully flighted ball from the middle of the park onto Michael Ritchie’s goal and the keeper did well to follow the line of the ball before tipping it away for a corner. Grant Irvine then missed his hit at the back post as the ball seemed to take a bobble at the worst time. Fraser MacKintosh had the ball in the net from a corner on the right but the goal was ruled out for offside. The first half of extra-time ended with the sides still deadlocked at 1-1. Kyles got themselves back in front on 107 minutes. Grant Irvine broke down the right and cut the ball inside to David Zavaroni who shot goalwards under a challenge from Andy MacKintosh and the spinning ball looped high into the net to make it 2-1. Kyles took Roddy MacDonald back into midfield as the Tighnabruaich side looked to protect their lead. However they did better than that on 112 minutes as they counter-attacked at speed. Roberto Zavaroni and David Zavaroni combined on the Kyles right and picked out Gordon Whyte at the back post and he had time to stop the ball with his feet before striking it past Michael Ritchie to make it 3-1. Newtonmore went for broke and they pushed Norman Campbell into attack. As the tie moved into stoppage time, Evan Menzies pulled it back to 3-2 but it wasn’t enough and Kyles saw out the closing seconds to seal the win. Kyles captain Callum Miller was correctly named BBC ALBA man of the match by match summeriser Stewart MacKenzie for an outstanding performance in defence. Kyles Athletic will now play Lovat in the 2015 SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final at Mossfield on Saturday 19 September 2015.
Strathdearn Cup – Semi Finals Fort William 0 Newtonmore 1 The Newtonmore reserves are through to the 2015 Strathdearn Cup Final after they beat the Fort William reserves 1-0 in their noon throw up at An Aird. There was little to separate the sides and the winning goal came in stoppage time. Calum Stewart scored all five goals as Newtonmore beat Lochside Rovers 5-0 last weekend to lift the Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup. And he was again the man who made the difference. With just 20 seconds remaining, the ball was played to Stewart’s feet and with his back to goal; he flicked the ball beyond his marker and smashed it past the keeper into the middle of the goal to make it 1-0. There was barely time for referee Andy MacLean to restart the match.
Glengarry 3 Kinlochshiel 2 Glengarry reached the 2015 Strathdearn Cup Final when they came from two goals down to secure a tight 3-2 win over the Kinlochshiel second team at Craigard. Glengarry, who are playing in Marine Harvest North Division 2, are now without Daniel MacLennan who is back playing Highland League football whilst Neil Fraser was back for Marine Harvest North Division 1 side Kinlochshiel who took a large travelling support to the game. It was ‘Shiel who took the early initiative with when a terrific Neil Fraser drive from distance on 26 minutes flew into the net. Fergus Dobson, again from long-range, made it 2-0 on 35 minutes to the delight of the ‘Shiel support. ‘Garry’s Ruairidh MacDonald started the come-back when he scored a minute before half-time to make it 2-1. The goal was a boost for ‘Garry but a blow for the Kirkton side. ‘Shiel youngsters Duncan Newton Grant and Chris Townsend both went close to restoring their sides two goals advantage against a Glengarry side which had a notable physical advantage. It was two goals in just 3 minutes which won the tie for Glengarry. Steven Cameron levelled on 75 minutes when he rocketed the ball home from 20 yards out. Just 3 minutes later, Martin Cameron found the back of the net with a low drive through a crowded goal-area past an unsighted Raymond Gillies in the ‘Shiel goal to put the home side a head for the first time in the match. Kinlochshiel lost Aedan MacRae who was on the receiving end of a heavy challenge and they were unable to conjure up an equalising goal. John Matheson was the match referee. Glengarry and the Newtonmore second team will now meet in the Strathdearn Cup Final.
Bullough Cup – Quarter Final SCOTS Camanachd 1 Tayforth 6 Tayforth reached the Bullough Cup semi-finals with a 6-1 win over SCOTS Camanachd at Levenhall Links. The Forces side won the toss of the coin to host the game but they share a home with Tayforth so the venue was never in doubt. Finlay Stark put Tayforth ahead after 22 minutes and Steven Thomson added a second on 32 minutes. Colin Irving gave the SCOTS hope with a 39 minute strike which made it 2-1 at the break. However Tayforth pulled away in the second half and former Glenurquhart player Ewan Menzies made it 3-1 on 53 minutes. Finlay Stark added a fourth with his second on 66 minutes. A late Brendan Duggan double on 80 and 86 minutes made it 6-1 and put gloss on the win. Tayforth will now take on the Inveraray second team in the semi-finals for the right to face the Kyles Athletic second team in the 2015 Bullough Cup Final.
Marine Harvest Premiership Inveraray 0 Oban Camanachd 2 There were two vital points up for grabs when relegation threatened sides Inveraray and Oban Camanachd met in a 3pm throw up at the Winterton. And it’s Oban Camanachd who move off the bottom of the table after a goal in each half gave them a 2-0 win. Inveraray had selection problems and they went into the match without the injured John Kennedy, Chris Crawford, Grant Griffin and David MacPherson. Douglas Dando returned to the side after travel difficulties meant he missed last weekend’s SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup semi-final extra-time defeat to Lovat. Ally Munro suffered broken toes in that match so he was added to the casualty list whilst top scorer Euan McMurdo was also missing. Neil Campbell was drafted in after playing for the Inveraray seconds the previous evening. Scott MacMillan started a two-match suspension for Oban Camanachd after his sending-off in their last match – a 2-0 Artemis Macaulay Cup semi-final defeat against Inveraray on Saturday 25 July 2015. Daniel Cameron started in attack with Daniel Lafferty at full centre. There was a minute’s silence ahead of throw up in memory of former Oban Camanachd and Glasgow Mid Argyll player Iain MacIntyre who passed away during the week. Oban Camanachd took the lead after just 2 minutes. The visitors moved the ball up the right wing and then into Daniel Cameron at full forward. Cameron hit the ball on the move, past Inveraray keeper Graham MacPherson, into the bottom corner of the net to make it 1-0. Cameron had the ball in the net again shortly after but referee Robert Baxter ruled out his effort. The match remained on a knife-edge until 15 minutes from time when Oban Camanachd sealed the win. Daniel Cameron went on a long run with ball before laying it back to Malcolm Clark and he checked his run and from between the penalty spot and the edge of the D, he put the ball into the inside of the side-netting to make it 2-0. The result is a morale-boosting win for Oban Camanachd, who are now only half-way through their full eighteen game league programme. They are a point better off that bottom side Inveraray and they look up the table to eighth place Kingussie who are four points better off but who have played five games more. Inveraray were far from their best and seemed to be suffering a hangover from last week’s Scottish semi-final defeat. Dropping to the bottom of the table will be a blow but they still have six games left to get themselves out of trouble.
Fort William 3 Lochaber 2 Fort William were 3-2 derby winners against Lochaber in their 3pm throw up at An Aird. Fort William were without Ewen Campbell who served the second match of a four-game suspension. Steven Stewart was also sidelined as he began a two-game suspension following his sending off in the SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup quarter-final defeat to Lovat a fortnight earlier. Barry MacDonald was missing for Lochaber as he served a one-match ban for exceeding the disciplinary points threshold. Shaun Nicolson was still injured. The home side got off to a great start when Daniel Stewart put them ahead in the second minute. Stewart picked the ball out of the air before hitting a 20 yard shot across the ground which went through the keeper Callum MacDonald’s legs and into the net. Alexander MacMillan made it 2-0 with a close range effort from inside the D. The ball was played across from Ryan Campbell and MacMillan took a touch before placing the ball in the bottom corner of the net. Calum MacDonald got a touch to the ball but couldn’t keep it out. Stuart Callison pulled a goal back on the stroke of half-time. Callison ran through the Fort William defence and he got to the ball just before on-rushing home goalie Paul MacKay and the Lochaber forward kept his cool as he took the ball round the keeper and passed it into the open net to make it 2-1. Fort William restored their two-goal advantage a minute after the restart. The Lochaber defence never properly cleared a long ball forward from Niall MacPhee and Ryan Campbell gathered possession from Daniel Stewart’s cross from wide on the left and he crashed a 25 yard shot high into the net to make it 3-1. Stuart Callison got his and Lochaber’s second in stoppage time. Ben Delaney played a free-hit into the D and Callison stretched and managed to nudge the ball past Paul MacKay and it rolled into the net. Fort William saw out the final seconds to take the points with a 3-2 win.
Glenurquhart 1 Lovat 1 It was honours even as Glenurquhart and Lovat drew 1-1 in their 3pm throw up at Blairbeg. Glenurquhart’s Ewan Brady served the second match of a two-match suspension for exceeding the disciplinary points threshold. Neale Reid also had to sit this one out for the same reason. John Barr remained on the Glen injury list. Daniel Grieve returned for Lovat after missing the SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup win over Inveraray when he served a one match ban for exceeding the disciplinary points threshold. However injury ruled out Greg Matheson, Lorne MacKay, Fraser Gallacher and Jamie Matheson. Defenders Craig Mainland and Michael MacKenzie were free to play for Lovat however they a suspension looming as their bookings against Inveraray takes them over the disciplinary points threshold. Lovat defender Callum Cruden started the game but he had been struggling with an injury and he had to come off after 20 minutes. There were no goals in the first half and it was Lovat who took the lead on 54 minutes when Danny Kelly played a free-hit to the back post and Lewis Tawse got to the ball ahead of his marker and keeper Stuart MacKintosh and he knocked the ball home to make it 1-0. Glenurquhart levelled when Stuart MacDonald saved from James MacPherson and the rebound fell for Iain MacLeod who finished well to make it 1-1. Glenurquhart stay third in the table whilst Lovat remain in sixth spot. The sides meet again in league action at Balgate this coming Friday evening with a 6.45pm throw up.
Marine Harvest National Division Skye Camanachd 4 Kilmallie 2 Skye Camanachd go top of the Marine Harvest National Division thanks to a 4-2 win over Kilmallie at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree. Skye manager John MacLeod made three changes to the squad which recorded a 2-0 Marine Harvest National Division win over Glasgow Mid Argyll at Yoker a week earlier. Iain Nicolson was working and youngster Ruairidh MacLeod, who was a late addition to last week’s squad, dropped out. Neil MacVicar was a late call-off through work commitments. Ally “Spod” MacLeod, who missed the GMA match after failing to recover from an injury sustained at the midweek Scotland U21 trials, returned whilst Iain Murray was back from holiday and there was also a place for Chris Rose in the fifteen man squad. Kilmallie went into the match top the Marine Harvest National Division, ahead of second place Skye on goal difference. Boss Mark MacPherson gave a starting place to Liam MacDonald who was a second half substitute in Kilmallie’s 1-1 draw with Caberfeidh in their last outing a fortnight earlier. Seb MacMillan was missing as was Mark Graham. The home side went in front on 24 minutes when Gibbs MacDonald played a terrific shy forward. Will Cowie gathered possession and evaded a couple of challenges as he broke down the Skye right. Cowie’s cross found Jordan Murchison who showed great skill as he took a touch and crashed the ball high into the net to make it 1-0. However Cowie took a blow to the hand in the build up to the goal and had to leave the field; replaced by Kenny MacLeod. Skye doubled their lead on 31 minutes when Martin Stewart brought down Kenny Campbell inside the D and Jordan Murchison made no mistake from the spot. Skye substitute Kenny MacLeod had to come off through injury with Shockie MacLennan coming on in his place and it was MacLennan who added Skye’s third just 3 minutes later with a bouncing shot which deceived Kilmallie keeper Shane Gillies at his right post. Skye’s fourth goal came following a fine flowing move. Kenny Campbell allowed an Allan MacKinnon shy to run to Jordan Murchison. Murchison found Shockie MacLennan who passed to Kenny Campbell and he shot goalwards. Shane Gillies made a great save but as the ball flew into the air, Murchison knocked it down into the net to complete his hat-trick to make it 4-0. Kilmallie boss Mark MacPherson changed his side around in the second half with Craig MacIsaac dropping back into defence and Martin Stewart pushed up front. Kilmallie were now more of a threat to the Skye goal and they went close on a couple of occasions before Liam MacDonald smashed an unstoppable shot into the Skye net following a John Stewart free-hit on 76 minutes to make it 4-1. When Stephen MacAllister launched a free-hit into the Skye goal area on 85 minutes, John Stewart stretched to deflect the ball down into the net to make it 4-2. However Skye saw out the remainder of the game and they are two points clear of second place Kilmallie at the top of the table with each side having four games remaining including a return meeting at the Canal Parks.
Inverness 3 Beauly 5 Beauly are also still in the title races but they had to battle all the way to beat Inverness 5-3 in their 2.30pm throw up at the Bught Park. This was Beauly’s first match since they lifted the Balliemore Cup on Saturday 18 July 2015 and they were without an injured Marc MacLachlan. The visitors fell behind to a Charlie MacDonald goal on 13 minutes. Connor Ross levelled on 19 minutes and a Sean Stewart strike put the visitors in front on 27 minutes. However Charlie MacDonald got his second on 31 minutes to make it 2-2 at the break. Chris Johnston put Inverness back in front on 65 minutes and Beauly knew they had a game on their hands. David MacLean made it 3-3 on 72 minutes and the Braeview Park side pulled ahead late in the match. Sean Stewart got his second to make it 4-3 on 79 minutes. And Sandy Elrick made sure of the win when he made it 5-3 just seconds before referee Ron Kennedy’s final whistle. One concern for Inverness will be an injury sustained by defender Fraser Stoddart.
Ballachulish 0 Glasgow Mid Argyll 4 Glasgow Mid Argyll got back on their winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Ballachulish at Jubilee Park. Ballachulish were without David Campbell who started a three game ban following his red card in the team’s last outing – a 6-1 defeat to Caberfeidh on Saturday 25 July 2015. Cain MacPhee served the second match of a two game ban for exceeding the disciplinary points threshold. However Scotland international John MacDonald returned after a long spell out through injury. Ewen Murray was free to play for GMA although he will miss their next outing for exceeding the disciplinary points threshold. Lewis Miller put GMA ahead on 22 minutes. Craig Anderson fired a shot goalwards and the ball took a deflection off a defender and landed for Miller at the back post and he drilled a shot into the bottom corner of the net to make it 1-0. Ewan Murray made it 2-0 on 31 minutes when he hit a long ball onto the goals from around 45 yards out on the left-hand side of the field. The ball dropped behind keeper Cameron Sutherland, into the top corner of the net. Craig Anderson added a third on 52 minutes following a scramble on the D and Anderson walked the ball into the net. Balla’s Scott MacDonald was sent off by referee Billy Wotherspoon following an off-the-ball incident and shortly after, Lewis Miller got his second to make it 4-0 with a well-worked goal just 5 minutes from time. The ball was passed between the GMA forwards until it found Miller at the back post and he sent a shot into the top corner of the net. GMA stay fourth in the league. They only trail third place Beauly on goal difference but they have played a game more.
Marine Harvest North Division 1 Kingussie 3 Strathglass 3 The Kingussie second team and Strathglass shared the points following a 3-3 draw at the Dell. Kingussie led 2-0 at the break courtesy of a Russell Menzies goal on 12 minutes and a Chris Holleysong goal on 34 minutes. Darren Reid pulled a goal back 5 minutes before the break. However Chris Holleysong got his second on 55 minutes to restore Kingussie’s two-goal cushion. Strathglass fought back though and Darren Reid made it 3-2 on 65 minutes. And it was Darren Reid who salvaged a point for the Cannich side when he completed his hat-trick a minute from time to make it 3-3. Kingussie stay third in the league, level on points with second place Newtonmore but they have played three games more, whilst Strathglass drop to fifth place.
Glenurquhart 3 Lovat 0 The Glenurquhart and Lovat second teams had a noon meeting at Blairbeg – ahead of their senior sides clash at the same venue later in the afternoon. A hat-trick from former professional footballer Michael Fraser earned Glenurquhart the win. Fraser scored the only goal of the first half on 11 minutes and he followed that up with second half strikes on 51 and 76 minutes. The Glen seconds now leap-frog Strathglass into fourth place in the table.
Beauly 2 Lochcarron 1 The Beauly second team came from a goal down to beat Lochcarron 2-1 at Braeview Park. The first half ended goalless but it was Lochcarron who took the lead with Ben Dalgety, re-signed by his local club after a spell with Glasgow Mid Argyll, who got the goal. Martin Davidson levelled for the Beauly colts on 72 minutes. The winning goal came 6 minutes from time when Robbie Brindle picked the ball up just over the half-way line and he played it to Neil Brindle, down the wing. He was challenged by a Lochcarron defender and the ball broke inside, around 20 yards from goal and Neil Brindle ran onto it before hitting a sweet back-hand shot into the roof of the net to make it 2-1 and clinch both points. Beauly seconds stay sixth in the league whilst Lochcarron are just above bottom side Lovat seconds on goal difference.
Marine Harvest South Division 1 Inveraray 4 Taynuilt 2 The match between the Inveraray second team and Taynuilt at the Winterton was brought forward to Friday 14 August 2015 with a 7pm throw up. And it’s league leaders Inveraray who stay top of the table following a 4-2 win. Inveraray led 2-0 at the break. Lewis Montgomery scored a well-worked goal to give the home side the lead. The ball was played down the line to Inveraray full forward Neil Campbell and he played the ball back to Montgomery who sent a good strike into the top corner of the net to make it 1-0. Inveraray’s second goal was similar to their opener with Neil Campbell this time laying the ball to Neil Shaw who sent a good shot into the back of the net to make it 2-0. Taynuilt made a strong start to the second half and they scored two quick goals through Steven Parr and Stuart Scott to level the match at two each. Inveraray regained the lead when a shot from distance was saved by the Taynuilt keeper but the ball fell back for Lewis Montgomery to grab his second goal of the evening. It was left to the youngest player on the park, Ruaridh Graham (Jnr), to seal the win with the last hit of the game. Graham’s bouncing shot deceived the Taynuilt keeper, going through his legs into the net to make it 4-2. The Inveraray seconds remain four points clear at the top of the table but they have played more games than the other title challengers.
Glenorchy 0 Bute 4 Bute made it six wins and a draw in their last seven league outings as they beat Glenorchy 4-0 in their 2.30pm throw up at Mart Park. Glenorchy’s Graham Morrice was free of his one match ban after missing the 4-1 defeat to Strachur four weeks earlier. Neil McKirdy gave Bute the lead with the only goal of the first half after 35 minutes. Iain MacDonald put daylight between the sides with strikes on 52 and 65 minutes to make it 3-0. David Whitelaw added a fourth a couple of minutes from time. Glenorchy’s cause wasn’t helped by Dylan Cooke’s sending off by referee David Mitchell. Second place Bute are in a strong position. They are four points behind leaders Inveraray seconds but they have four games in hand. Bute and Glenorchy are scheduled to meet again this coming weekend; this time at the Meadows.

Daniel Madej made it 3-0 on 28 minutes and a second from David Duffy on 39 minutes made it 4-0 at the break. Kenny Wotherspoon added a fifth goal on 49 minutes and although Rupert Williamson pulled a goal back on 52 minutes, further strikes from Neil Carmichael on 66 minutes and Lee Askew’s second 4 minutes from time made for an impressive 7-1 win although Kyles’ focus may have been distracted by their first team’s SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup semi-final later in the afternoon.
Lochside Rovers 5 Aberdour 0 Fourth place Lochside Rovers are also very much in the title race and they bounced back from last weekend’s Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup Final defeat to the Newtonmore reserves to beat Aberdour 5-0 in their 2.30pm throw up at Ganavan. An Angus Thorburn own goal after 3 minutes put Lochside on their way. Keith Burnett made it 2-0 just 4 minutes later and Scott Dempster made it 3-0 on 23 minutes. When Brian MacCallum made it 4-0 on 27 minutes, there was only going to be one winner. Lochside’s Lewis Buchanan scored the only goal of the second half on 65 minutes to make it 5-0. Marine Harvest North Division 2 Lochaber 2 Skye Camanachd 3 League leaders Skye Camanachd seconds stretched their lead at the top of the table when they beat the Lochaber seconds 3-2 in a close encounter at Sean Bridge. Danny Delaney gave Lochaber the lead following a free-hit. Skye levelled when John MacKenzie ran at the Lochaber defence and he slipped the ball past the keeper to ensure the sides went into the break on level terms after what was a pretty even first half. Skye went in front when James Pringle latched onto a ball over the top from left to right and he played the ball across the edge of the D where Ryan Morrison made a front post run and he hit the ball first-time into the bottom left corner of the net to make it 2-1. And that’s the way it stayed until there was final minute drama. Lochaber attacked the Skye goal and following a scramble inside the D, the ball broke to Kirsty Delaney and she looked to have earned Lochaber a point as she slammed the ball home to make it 2-2. However Skye had other ideas and they attacked straight from the restart. John Gillies picked up possession for the Islanders and he played a long ball to Ryan Morrison who held off his man and allowed the ball to run to James Pringle who ran in behind him and Pringle dribbled the ball into goal area and around the keeper before tapping the ball into the net to win both points for his side. Skye Camanachd now lead second place Glengarry by four points but the Craigard side have a game in hand.

MacLennan got his second and Caberfeidh’s third on 69 minutes and Andrew MacMaster rounded off the scoring with a goal just 5 minutes later to make it 4-1.
